Our mission is to enhance the quality of the spaces and moments people share through the medium of tea. The true protagonists are always the people present in those spaces. Acting as “behind-the-scenes” facilitators, we quietly support these spaces, striving to make both the “spaces” where people interact and the “moments” shaped by their relationships comfortable and enjoyable. To achieve this, we draw not only on our long-cultivated expertise in tea preparation but also on a wide range of fields and resources as we take on new challenges.

Message

There are things that only tea can do.

“Around this time of day, you can see the fishing boats…”
As I sipped tea and gazed out at the sea from the hotel lounge, which offers a panoramic view of Suruga Bay, the manager quietly spoke to me from beside me.

It was just around sunset, and though it was a casual exchange, I felt as if I were being drawn into the depth of time flowing through those fishing boats and the endless expanse of the sea. Thinking that such scenery and wonderful moments exist in every corner of Japan, I feel that there is still so much more tea can do.

In the “space and time” created by tea, I believe that the role of our products—such as the tea we deliver—is to support human relationships from behind the scenes. This is because I believe these products truly come alive only when the people present use them in a way that suits the moment.
